Rain Rain, Go Away

All this rainy weather is making me drenched. Sure, I have my Henri Bendel rain boots, but it's an unreasonable garment to wear in 100 degree weather. So is a trench, but that's besides the point. I am lusting over Abercrombie's short and sweet classic trench that would be absolutely perfect for fall. But at $200, I'd rather splurge on a clearanced Burberry instead.

Stars in My Ears

In Korea, I spent an extravagant amount of money. In fact, I'd rather not think about it. However, I came back with a mound of wonderful things- one of them being these star bedazzled headphones. They are originally from Japan but I bought them in Hongdae, my favorite sector of Seoul. The sound quality isn't the best, but I'm all about aesthetics over sound quality. Haha.

The Most Feminine Truck

This is seriously the best picture I took in Korea. It is a pink truck in the artsy neighborhood of Hongdae! Apparently, it was in a popular Korean movie called Cinderella Man. And if you go to the site, it's actually a clothing site! But really, I wouldn't mind this as my source of transportation. ^^

In the Year 2000

This is great. Really.

An Extra Boost

All young women (or just women in general, actually) in Seoul wears heels. All. The. Time. I don't know why (perhaps it is the lack of height) but if you don't wear heels, you're considered odd in this society. How women claim to this feat, I have no idea since you have to walk EVERYWHERE. Sure there's subways and busses, but to an extent you have to walk a lot to live in Seoul.

But as I was surrounded by heels for 3 weeks, I have garnered a soft spot for them. So when we returned to America I have been hunting for a perfect pair- and I have come up with these J. Crew wonders. Stacked with a wooden heel (a la Yves Saint Laurent) and perfected with grey patent leather, they are so me. But the $140 price tag is a bit hindering...
